Corona Steel, Inc.is in the business of
providing specialized services in all areas of structural,
miscellaneous, and reinforcing steel placement. Our teams
have substantial experience in the erection of
pre-engineered metal buildings. All of our services include
a well trained and dedicated staff, as well as a committed
workforce.
All of our field employees
are members of the Ironworkers International Union, ensuring
an experienced and trained workforce.
The Ironworkers Union has a
4-year apprenticeship program that includes 1280 hours of
in-class training. In addition to
Apprentices, Journeyman Ironworkers also receive benefits of
continuing education on safety and efficient field erection
procedures.
Other aspects of training we
provide beyond that received through the local union:
All foremen carry OSHA 10 certifications.
Beginning in 2006 all of our field foremen and General
Foremen will be OSHA 30 trained and certified.
All of our foremen maintain current training and
certification in CPR and First-aid.
Our Field Foremen conduct weekly safety meetings
(tailgate meetings) at each job to ensure a safe work
environment and to discuss job specific safety hazards.
We
maintain a fleet of company operated service trucks,
ensuring maximum flexibility and prompt service.
We
offer integrated steel construction services that allow
us to efficiently respond to design and construction
changes associated with complex fast-track projects of
all sizes.
